LLT/304 h.p. decal

LLT/304 H.P.
LLT/304 H.P. I had this vinyl decal below the Camaro badge and above the GM badge on both fenders..... the car was manufactured 8/2009.... Recently was in an accident a punk backed into me and I didn't crack his skull..... Must be gettin old.... Anyway the Hendricks GM dealer body shop says the vinyl decal is not a GM part.... they are hunting for one now possibly an ebay purchase..... I am wondering if the early cars had this decal or did the dealer add this to my car..... anyone know the story here?

nah - think of it as an homage. I'd like to get something from a 69 to put on mine, but haven't decided yet. Maybe the "rally-sport" emblem...

I have a question regarding those 67' Emblems. I ordered a pair and when they came in they had those rods sticking out of the back of it to stamp it into the Fender.

Anyone actually stamp it into the 2011 Camaro Fender? Or did everyone just cut those off and use 3M Tape to adhere it to the car? Just looking to see what the best option is for the car.

Those "rods" are the studs/posts for the barrel/trim nuts that thread on to attach the emblems to the car way back when. You'd have to drill holes in your pretty new car, and also have access to the rear of the panel to put the mounting nuts on the back. I believe the prefered method is to shave them off the back and use the 3M trim adhesive tape to adhere them to the car. If you change you mind or whatever, then you can just peel them off.

I put one in the grill on my 2LT Non-Rs car. Used the GM mounting brackets for the RS/SS badges.

Actually the V stands for v-block which one could assume was for V8 as there were no V-block chevy V6 camaros back in the day.

I just got my V flags in the mail. What did you guys use to cut off the brackets on the back? Also, what did you use to install them on the car, the back is inset a bit so how did you make it flush?
