My car weighed around 4200 with me in it when I ran a 9.84. The radio was nice to have because at the track I could listen to the anouncer and hear what I ran before I could see it or get my time slip.

The SCCA announces results at the events as well. I turn the radio off so I don't get distracted..

We dont have any fancy anouncers at my local track, but I do enjoy jamming while in the staging line.

When I get to the water box, the only music I listen to is the engine. Lines are pretty long here to get up to the waterbox.

1st 2 pics in attached thread post was 270 miles and measured ~ 1 tsp, last pic was 210 miles so far - but not measured yet.

I've got a PM to a GM technician in our Camaro Club of the Rockies CCOTR - I'll see if there's any validity to it.... like a checkvalve issue on passenger side maybe? I'll have to PM the poster too.

BTW..... ordered DSS 1-piece Carbon Fiber drive shaft yesterday

That could expiain why mine only has a slight film and never a measureable amount like yours has.

Okay, the L99 and LS3 come with the same valve covers, part #12570427 is an older valve cover used on LS1's & LS2's, and is a GM performance part - still not 100% sure how it might help though. (if it really does). Paul, are your valve covers different than ours since your catch can was installed? Maybe there's something to this - more homework to do.
