You will beat a Taurus SHO, but can you take 3 friends and their clubs to the golf course? It's a sedan, dude.

I was having this conversation the other day with my machinist. His wife got the SHO Taurus and it was to much for her so they traded it in... definite sleeper of a car... their mustangs aren't fast but look out for their sedans...LOL

I'm confused?!?!?.... someone said the SHO is 4300lbs ,and 365hp, and we are wondering if a Camaro Ss, with 425hp, and weighing 3750( curb weight) can beat it? I'm no math wizard, but I think its fairly cut and dry isn't it?

I would bet money he meant to say 101 mph, not 111 mph.
But wait.... the dilemma continues... Car and Driver recorded 14.1 @ 90 mph ?? * http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...take_road_test *-That was also a typo on Car and Drivers part, I read the article and although the trap time is indeed 14.1 the trap speed is actually 100 mph, not 90. The non ecoboost-MKS recorded a 90 mph 1/4 mile trap speed. |

You will beat it, no doubt. There was a lot of talk about the SHO being a low 13 second car, but when it came out, it was nothing more then a ceiling 13/low 14 second car, at best. It's a drivers race with v-6 camaro's and v-6 mustangs.

That's not bad for a 4-door, family car. I'll keep my Camaro though In the price range of Lincoln and SHO, there are many faster cars.
