Maybe they started today because they have to talk to the goverment on Tuesday. Maybe not, but if they did good for them and good for us!

Thats the earliest post I know of and thats what got my hopes up. This post and the many others that have been posted since are just from members of Camaro5. Which leads me to believe GM may have been makes calls well before Feb 3, 2009 and that there maybe a Surprise Announcement at the Dayton 500 that the Camaro's Production date is back on for This Month(FEB).

Like I said I know its thin. I'm I the Only one hoping this?

NOBODIES CAMARO started production this is completley false information from an uninformed dealer. The showroom cars all dealers are getting start production 3/16/09 ours will be mixed in with those. Hang in there guys its REALLY is close now!

You see the one on ebay from the dealer in Indiana? Already, in his words, " Delivery should be by late MARCH/early APRIL at the latest! " WOW, somebody is probably going to be very disappointed.

Or the other on ebay from some punk who has his "build sheet" and is going to be one of the first 10 produced ?

How about the Sold V6 cars they will be building them also won't they? not just the Showroom V6 cars.

If they are ramping up the line this would make the most sense.

From the post where the guy drove the car his source says they are running the line and building cars.

When my status changed my dealer said "most get built within 2 weeks of that status". Well that is when they are in production

So given the situaton we just have to wait and see.

I was told that we "should" and I mean "should" have our GM Performance Parts test car in March.

I heard that mine is already built and on it's way to my dealer as we speak.

Of course, I dreamt it last night and the person that told me in my dream was Shunt. And he was screaming it from the trunk of my car as it was going down the assembly line yesterday. BTW, 80Zedder, Shunt said you did a very nice job painting on the inside lip of the trunk. Thanks!
