Atleast twice a day some says "I herd someone backed into your Camaro in the parking lot... Haha just kidding" or "It looks like it got keyed".

Does it ever stop?
I do get alot of compliments coworkers though.

No it never stops. I'm very particular about whatever car I drive, and the guys a the fire station are always asking "how'd you get that dent"? I just tell them it happened the other day, lol.

My friends do the old slap the quarter panel and hop on one foot feigning injury deal. Then I back up and try to hit them FOR REAL

I hate people like that. I like to joke and prank all the time, but to me, someone who is OCD about my car, joking that it got keyed or hit is just as funny as telling someone the hospital called, your child died. Now, I understand that a car is not a person, and that would really be way worse, but I just don't see why it is funny to scare people by telling them their loved ones, either animate or not, have been hurt.

Unless you have serious reason to suspect that someone did damage your car, a little friendly teasing never hurt anyone. Just roll with the punches and come up with some witty retorts to combat it - all in good fun, of course. I once used a couple spare cubicle panels to seal the cube of someone who told me he backed into my car, complete with signs saying something like "Punishment for filing a false Camaro damage report." Seeing the look on the guy's face when he came in the next day was great.

I just tell them the only dent I know of is the one me and your little sister put in the hood because she wouldn't fit into the back seat.

One of the guys here calls me bumblebee relentlessly. I love my car, and buying it had nothing to do with Transformers [even if it's an added bonus]. I get that 'hey, i think someone stole your camaro' or 'hey! someone just sideswiped your car'; like hey man, get a life. I swear sometimes I just wanna get all Sphinx on them...
