When they ask me "how'd you get that dent?" I now just respond with "same way your mom got pregnant... by accident"
lol We are fairly immature at work.. but I have only driven the camaro twice to work in the past year and half.

I do get alot of compliments coworkers though.

It usually helps if everyone at your job thinks you would go room to room with an AR-15 dispatching everyone for merely mentioning that.At least it does in my case.

I've been getting picked on quite a lot about my car at work as well, and I'm not even picking it up until tomorrow.

I get compared to a co-worker who bought a WS6 a few years back and ended up trashing it and eventually having it reposessed. (he was also paying something like 700.00 a month, I'm not paying anywhere NEAR that astronomical figure.) So to bust my balls people call me by his name.

What else?

Another co-worker drives a 2010 GT500. I'm asked daily if he and I will be parking at the far end of the lot next to each other, so that the person asking can "Plow into both of them with their truck."

Oh and my absolute favorite, when a client/customer finds out what I'm driving: (I never discuss it, but people overhear things)

"I'm tipping you too much"

Ehh.... nope. I'm just a hard worker who saved his money over a year, who has a very supportive future wife that helped me get into a position to buy a very nice car. (amazing how fast a perpetual man-child like myself grows up when the right person is kicking him in the ass

)

Funny part is, many of my co-workers have fourty thousand dollar pick up trucks, thirty to fifty thousand dollar lexus'.

Nobody says a word to them about it. Ahh well. Price you pay for having such a beautiful vehicle. It's almost a double edged sword that the Camaro is so unique looking. People tend to think it's a much more expensive vehicle than it really is. Just because someone's income is based partially on tips, doesn't mean they are dirt poor

Just means that they have to rarely take vacations, plan a little further ahead with finances, and never, ever let anyone see them have a bad day at work.

If anything people seem to have a fair amount of respect for my car and really like it. We usually spend a lot of time talking about exotics unless we find somthing extrodinary about one of our own cars.

I still get people asking if its mine or what car I drive and I tell them that I have a hoopty on 20s smile and walk away.

I'm gonna have to try that one. never even thought about it that way.
