You don't have to hold the key in the start position to start the car. One quick flip to the "start" position will kick off the sequence and the starter will automatically disengage when the engine runs on its own.

If you have a HUD and you wear polarizing sunglasses and you tilt your head to the right or left the color of the HUD display will change a little....

Your VIN Number is etched and hidden underneath a flap of carpet under the passenger seat.

Not sure if this is something that is obvious, but this morning I stopped for breakfast and when I got back in the car and turned it on the rear defrost came on automatically. The temperature read that it was 38 degrees. Does this happen whenever the temperature is at a certain level? This is the second time I've seen this happen.

I know the DIC will tell you to watch for ice if it is cold enough. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

Yes it happens to me. I read somewhere that the rear defrost will come on when it gets below a certain degree like you said 38 or 39 degrees.

If the automatics are in "manual mode" the car will automatically downshift for you. (ironic?)

The cabin air filter is located under the passenger side cowl at the base of the windshield, comes off by removing three plastic push-pins.

WIX brand cabin air filter cost roughly $38 at O'Reileys.

hmm 2010 vs 2011 possibly? I read that 2010 year you had to manually hit the button whereas 2011 was automatic. Mine is 2011 1 LT
