think about it, when the SS came out, how many people from Ford and Dodge shouted "oh there is no way they will price that under 40k"

GM spankin the competition again.
I really doubt it, that LSA is a very expensive and wonderful engine, not to mention the brake upgrades, the 7 radiators, the 2 intercooler's, the same magnetic suspension the ZR1 and V uses

try 50k-55k

Don't worry the SRT10 will be up there as well

Yea, I'm lazy

But serious, That CTS-V has some pricey stuff under the hood, and unless GM takes a bullet and sells the Z28 for less than what it's worth ( which no automaker can do right now)

But I would be really amazed if it's the same price range as the GT500

It wont be priced more than the Corvette unless its a limited production car.

Then all bets are off.

Ps. Corvette starts at 49k

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I don't call it lazy - I call it efficient

You're right there. Well, some really quick head-math puts that LSA at least another $5K above what a new LS3 costs, then you have all the fuel system and PCM stuff, then you're going to need a heavier duty drivetrain and they'd probably at least do bigger breaks. We have 14s on the SS now, so I could see them adding something close to 15-inch rotors. I can see it getting to $50K pretty easy I guess, I just don't want to admit that to myself yet. I still stand by them including all the 2SS content and then adding on top of that price. I think we'd get to that 4100-4200 pounds pretty quick, the more I think about it.

well, they did it with the SS. everyone thought it was going to be north of 40k MSRP and they got it down. guess we'll have to wait and see.

That is an interesting idea. I truly hadn't thought of this.

Which is why it sould really be an engine tranny upgrade. And probably the brakes from the CTS V. We don't really need the Mag suspension nor the ceramic brakes.

I do believe if it is based of the 1SS we could see it below 50K. Now, I concede that my idea may not be what would sell the best. But that's how I would do it.

You know GM is not going to do y'all like that, If it's going to be a Z28, it's going to be the whole sha-bang as long as you pay for it

I only see GM making 5000-6000 of these anyway
