Yeah they've got some good deals on Challengers. They've got employee pricing, 0% for 48 months and 1000 cash back using Chrysler financial. Basically its about 4600 off with 0%.

It is not a Z06, I'm no 'Vette expert but I beleive that only the Z06 has the aluminum chassis.

Congrats on your new Corvette. For me I just don't think a Corvette is my style. I'm a Camaro guy all the way. I believe Fbodfather has made comments on not mixing Corvette and Camaro guys, sad but true.

Check on Insurance it might be nearly as much as your payment....depending on your age and driving record. I have always wanted a Vette too. If it feels right do it!!

Yeah - I've been borderline obsessed with that damn camaro for years now, but honestly, I don't really care what people think about a car. I care more about what I think about it - that is usually based on performance. Camaros scream mullet in my neighborhood, Corvette screams old man with mid-life crisis. Both are pretty lame stigmas if you have a maturity level above a sixth grader. I'm 32 - have a fiance and am an adrenaline junky. I'll live with the Vette at 430hp and insane handling up until they work all the kinks out of the camaro, then re-think it. Who knows, maybe we'll see a 500hp Z28 down the road. If I do decide to get the camaro later on, I'm definitely buying a mullet wig, tank top, and cut-off jean shorts though!

oh - regarding insurance, my monthly rate when from 75 to 95 - for full coverage on my Vette and Z71 4x4 - insurance was VERY minor. I was shocked. Also - the mpg on that vette is way better than I would have imagined - damn near toyota four banger level.

Anyone that things like this is just trying to find a way to convince themselves that it's OK that they haven't done what is necessary to be able to afford one!

i agree with the guy who said he would not fit, neither would i. 6'03" 265lbs. you did not say how old you are or if you are, lets say "bigger", but i can tell you it is a bit of a drop to get in the vette. then you have to get out, so you have to consider that. vette is nice, but with a back seat i can take my wife and 7 year old. then again, if i had a vette my son and i would have a reason to leave mom behind!!

I'm about the max in terms of the size you want to be for the vette - 6' 2" -205 lbs - 32yrs old - I work out daily, so no issues getting in and out for me. I wouldn't want to be much bigger though. No kids - fiance' - besides, still own a silverado.

Yes, you can assume that the Corvette and the Camaro are both cars.
Some people might also say that they are both awesome cars.
