Cheri and I should be arriving early afternoon with about 20+ Colorado members and whoever elso joins caravan in Albuquerque. 5 family members flying in. We're driving back mid-day on Sunday. I'm signed up for the Friday morning Pfadt - High Performance Drivers Education Track Attack. Looks like mws444, 2010 BADSS, and Hoverman also doing it. Also doing the "Team LS3 vs Team L99" with PQ and GTAHAVIT - mws444 also doing this. I'm almost afraid of doing too many events and not seeing everyone I'd like to.

I'm up for dinner - would be nice if there's a big group thing that we can get our own table or area? .... I'll have alot of Colorado members to share the love with

RPM Level 6 transmission and DSS Carbon Fiber DS should be in just in time for Cfest! Now I can bag the backup plan "what if output shaft goes in AZ". My VIN# is right in the breakage range and M&H 325/45/17 DRs was a recipie for failure.

.... now for the bullet proof vest and big "S" Jim Guthrie warned the Albuquerque crowd about ... I'm sure RS and BADSS remember that briefing! LOL
I will have 2 HD and 1 regular Hero cam mounted in different locations on my car for the event... Pete is bringing his Sony HD video Camcorder and we are going to mount that as well, and one stationary video camcorder - for each run, so there will be plenty of video footage from the Autocross...

I may need to have someone help me manage all the video recordings! It's going to be a few hour job just to charge everything overnight and download the day's captured footage to get ready for the next day..

It's going to be such a great event (CamaroFest) as a whole..!!!

All,
Curious if we want to do Dinner at the C5Fest one night?
It was a great time when we did the LPE/Pedders/Customer dinner at SEMA.. we have a lot of people at the Fest this year!

It's early enough for us to get a decent place for our large crowd that we have this year.

What evening? I think it needs to be Friday or Saturday - Could be Thursday.. Maybe. Do we want to do dinner and then go to the Savini wheel party with the other Festies? I don't know what is in the area.. so hopefully Black Friday or someone that has been to the Fest location can suggest a place. I'll make the reservation after we get an accurate headcount.

Who's in?
I'm definitely in. I'll come up with some good ideas for dinner in the next day or two if everyone will approve a day they would like to have it. The Savini party is a ways away from the track (about 30-45 minutes). I'm sure I can find a good place closer.

LMK

I just realized there is a Don Shula's Steakhouse at the Wild Horse Pass which is right at Firebird (or 3 mins away). Might be a nice, close place. I haven't been there, but I've heard good things. A bit pricey, but......they have a private dining room. Check it out and see what you think.

I've been to Shula's in New Orleans.. great food.
High end Steakhouse, similar to Morton's.. I approve!

we may have about 30 people.. we need to pick a day.. so we can book it for an evening.

What say you Pete? your schedule is probably more full than the rest of us. What would be a good evening?
Think the folks from WCC are interested in joining our little party that evening?

Absolutely!

I was already counting on the "LPE home office"being in the dinner headcount.

BTW.. who's attending the C5Fest from LPE? How many will be attending dinner?

LPE/PEDDERS/Customer dinner at the C5fest..

Mark, Would you like to call Shula's and find out if the board room is available at Shula's? also how many people it holds. Let's tentatively plan for Friday evening.. subject to change.

We will have a rather large crowd this time around. Rough count is 26.. that doesn't count the people I flagged with question marks, so it's probably more.

Pete has 5? - Pete, Ron Pedders, Jacie, DMS (Mike?) + 1 other? I believe
LPE Home Office probably has about 6
West Coast Customs (unknown right now)??
There are 12 LPE cars attending when we counted earlier - most will have someone driving along with others.

600hp-lpe Dan + wife
MWS444 Mike + sukie + others?
Speed74SS Nate + ?
Paul 2010 Paul + ?
Blue70SS Garth + 4 I believe
Black Friday Mark + ?
2010BadSS Darren + Diana
Stratman2ssrs ??
BarryInv ??
Hoverman ??
Se7en ??

Anyone I missed?

Garth, is MTNCWBY coming? does he want to attend?

Any others?

Absolutely. I'll call today to see if it's available for Friday night. BTW I'll be a + 0 because the wife will be in Boston on "work". I'll let you know what I find out.

Shula's private room holds 36. I'll call to inquire more, but sounds like we would be getting very close to this with the LPE guys. I know Kevin indicated he is probably coming and wanted "in" on any dinner that might be held. More later........

You gotta run that beast during the L99 vs. LS3 grudge match! It is actually a manual vs. auto trany event.

Ok I called Shula's and as of right now the private dining room is available on Friday, April 15th. The room can seat 22-36 and that 22 can sit "comfortably" (2 large tables) and then they open the glass doors to the room and put another table just outside of it, but close enough to be within earshot. I was told that with any attendance over 22 we would meet our "Food and Beverage" Minimum and we have to order from the executive menu. There are no separate fees in order to use the room, just the minimum food and beverage costs.

I am willing to sign the contract but I have to get a pretty firm head count on who is going to be attending. If this doesn't sound like a good place I can check around, but from some preliminary searches, several of the private rooms at nicer places have smaller 4 person tables spread out over the room. I personally like the idea of having larger tables.

I can start a list with this post and if you would like to attend please post or PM me. The sooner I have a good head count the sooner I can book the room or start looking elsewhere.

Attending so far that I know of: (updated 03/13)

Black Friday (Champion)
mws444 +3 (Champion Dinner)
600hp-lpe +1 (Champion)
Pete +3 (Champion)
2010 BADSS Darren & Diana 2 (Champion)
LPE Graham +10 (or so)
Blue70SS (Champion)

Let's get this solidified!! It should be one great evening

Mark
