Months apart or not... that is besides the point. But this conversation is going to go no where so... I will continue to try to sell it and you continue going to school.

Don't use our thread to bicker back and forth. Work out you shit in private.

Whether he lead you on or not... whatever, it's a private issue.

As for the exhaust, go back and delete your posts, repose what you want to sell and maybe someone will bite. This isn't Judge Judy.

Perhaps putting out what happened will help others who are trying to sell something. Just a thought. And that was the goal.

...and if seems like I'm a little grumpy today... I am. I just spent $65. For half a tank of fuel in my truck.

You won't hear me complain about gas in Camaro because I choose to own it as a toy. Now I need my truck but it rapes me to drive it.

Just for future reference... try private first. You could have hashed it out other ways.

I hear you on that. These gas prices are getting ridiculous. However I love the Camaro too much to not drive it. Ha ha ha.

$3.97 for diesel today. I stopped at $65. I was pissed enough!

List of requirements I sent to the parents...

Quote:
Must be manufactured by General Motors. ABSOLUTELY NO IMPORTS.

Chevrolet - 2000-2005 Impala - 3.8L 3800 V6, 2000-2005 Monte Carlo - 3.8L 3800 V6.
Buick - 1998-2004 Regal, 2000-2005 LeSabre.
Pontiac - 1997-2003 Grand Prix GT - 3.8L 3800 V6, 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville, 2004-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix - 3.8L 3800 V6.
Oldsmobile - 2000-2004 Alero, 2001-2003 Aurora - 3.5L V6.

Will preferably have: Power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, power mirrors, radio headunit similar to Envoy's (you can't get this with the Grand Prix, but all the other cars will have the same or similar radio to the Envoy's), front/rear disc brakes, ABS, alloy wheels (aka no plastic wheel covers over a black steel wheel). Not exactly a deal-breaker (I can live without the wheels or rear disc brakes) if it doesn't have all of these but it should have the majority.

Coupes preferred over sedans for Grand Prix/Alero.

Preferably an LS model for the Impala.

Pay attention to the engines. The '97-'03 Grand Prix had an SE model below the GT which had a vastly inferior and less reliable engine. The 3.8L Buick 3800 V6 that's in most of these cars is more or less bulletproof considering GM's been building it or some variation of it since the 1960s. Both Buicks will have it.

Again, nothing smaller than a Cobalt. I just don't feel comfortable driving anything that small, especially in the city.

I felt the same way about imports, but I have purchased Hondas made in Marysville a few times. They're made here and employ Ohio folks. They have been incredibly reliable and fun cars for us. But, I know you like GM.

I'll be trading in my current daily driver (not my Camaro) for a Honda CRV this fall. They're made a few miles from my house.

We're considering a Fit. The Civic has been awesome but its at 242,000 miles and wont last forever. Were hoping for 2 more winters. If we make it past December 2012 then we will get something spring 2013 as long as she makes it 2 more winters!

On the radar:
Cruze LTZ/RS, ATS (new small Caddy), Focus 5 door, Fit, Golf TDI (Rabbit), Audi A3 TDI, considered a CRZ but need the back seat, or anything else that comes out between now and then for $25,000 or so and good on gas.

A friend of mine bought a Fit last year. It's a great car and really good on gas. I'm only getting a CRV because I like the 4WD in winter.

We have our 2006 4x4 Ram 2500 for that. It only gets driven when we need to haul/tow something or it snows... which is infrequent "down here" Maybe 10 times a year we take it to work bc of weather. For the rest of the year we need good mpg. We drive too far. Last week I filled the Honda monday, tuesday, wednesday and friday. Its but thats the breaks I guess.

Sooo, in my recent absences from the site, I see the C5fest is in Arizona. And looks like alot of us arent going to make it, including Melanie and myself. I would like to invite some of you all to one of the "Some nite" cruses down in Somerset. We went last August and had a great time over the 3 day event. Mels family lives down there (Science hill) and with a couple spare bed rooms I've talked my inlaws into a bed and breakfast deal for the shows. So as we get closer to spring I'll keep yas updated on that event witch is always the 3rd weekend of the month April thru October. We also have the Easy Streets event in Milford in June. so hopefuly we will see some of you guys soon. By the way. Put my springs on yesterday and love em. I only drove it around Reading cause the alignment is all out of wack......but man I love the ride and the stance. Hope to see yas soon....Craig
