I don't think it has anything to do with that, but they are saying there will probably be a MSRP increase after March 16th on any new orders...

Like I have said before If you get it in writing on the price they cannot go up on the price on you. now they can tell you BEFORE you order that there is going to be add ons or a AMV (Adjusted Market Value) on the car but they have to disclose that fact along with the amount before you place the order, That's the LAW as I have been told by my dealer.. (this is in Tennessee, your laws may vary.

Add me to the torn on what to do list.

But I have to go to sleep every night knowing it's just one email to Camaro Scotty and there will be a Camaro in my driveway this fall.

My bank account tells me to wait until 2011... my right foot tells me to order now!

So the G8 GXP already has a 3000 incentive, that makes me hopefull. I just wish they had 0% financing for thw Camaro, that would make my purchase a whole lote easier but there is no possibility in that is there?

I have searched all over California and the G8 GXP's are not at dealers.
So even if they are giving you a 3000 incentive it wont do you any good if you cant find one.

Yeah, I just got the same e-mail. I feel even better having ordered now. And as for 0% financing, it certainly feels/seems unlikely, but you never know, and no one can give you a definite answer. I don't care who they are. The way things are these days, it certainly could happen. In this economy, things are changing daily, literally. So the next eight months of the fiscal year could bring all kinds of changes, hopefully, and most likely, in our favor. I wouldn't bank on it, but who knows? Maybe GM will feel really generous soon and decide to give us pre-orders some special incentive for our faith in them, besides an amazing car some of us have never even seen yet! After all, we're seeing a $3,000 incentive on the G8 GXP, which hasn't even really hit the market much yet. I've certainly yet to see one!

Ya I got the e-mail but my concern is not just the price, but the availablility. Outwardly the price shouldn't go up. They need to sell cars. BUT, price and availability ALWAYS go hand in hand.

I have a little more hope in seeing a lower interest rate, but if they are already placing 3000 incentive on a hot new G8 GXP, there is a good chance of us getting some sort of incentive. lol i didnt mean i wanted a G8 Briwallbri, just that it demonstrates how there is a possibility of us getting an incentive . Optimus understood what i meant and now we hope for a low interest rate

I got the same email today. Can the dealers get pricing on all options? I agreed to MSRP or less and I would like to start working on financing/down payment plans. My dealer seems to be in the dark when I ask about allotments/order placement/order status. I'm supposed to be #1 of 3...some of you have already got phone calls from dealers placing orders to production.

Amen to that! Here's to hoping... I wonder if CamaroScotty has any thoughts on this?
