i was really into the black dodge charger, especially since the cops use them and stuff. i really liked the SRT8 but it was too expensive, i was fresh outta college buying .their regular R/T is fine too but then the camaro came around and just blew me away. to this day i still admire the charger, with that mean face it has. i guess if i had to switch and had some cash, i'd go with an SRt8 charger

I've been wanting the Camaro since it first came out again. That being said, I always try to "beat" the car I want by comparing it with as many other cars close to it as possible. So (not in any specific order)...

Audi A4, A5
BMW 1, 3-series
Ford Mustang
Nissan 370Z
Infiniti G37
Lexus IS 250, 350, x50-C
Subaru Impreza
Hyundai Genesis Coupe
Buick Regal, LaCrosse
Cadillac CTS
Chevrolet Corvette

I know some of those are nowhere near the same category, but those are all the things I compared to the Camaro. Taking into account price, interior, exterior, and overall "Wow" factor (to my taste), the Camaro beat the pants off of all of those for me personally (except for the Corvette, but it's above my price range).

2011 Mustang V6, 370Z, Sentra SER, 2009 Maxima, Fiero GT (lol)

Even though I thought about them the second I sat in my friend's LS V6 it was pretty much a closed and shut case. Didnt even go to another dealer.

Mazda miata, honda s2000, sti, I never considered the camaro to be honest. My dealer gave me what I paid for my astra in trade because I was having so many problems with it. So I was stuck at a chevy dealer and didn't want a boring car or a truck. So that left the camaro. If I went to a different dealer I would have lost about 4500 bucks. So it was the camaro or throw away 4500. Credit stopped me from buying used.

BMW 535,335, Corvette,Caddy CTS/V Just got rid of '08 335xi It was a great car but after 5 former BMW cars, its a story for another time and thread on probably why there won't be another BMW here

None. As soon as I saw the 5th generation Camaro I knew that I would have one. I have had mine for 13+ months and have never regreted it once. It puts a smile on my face EVERY time I drive it.

Love the new Challenger's, I think they look pretty damn good but I'm a Camaro guy from the moment I bought my first one back in 1986.
I've owed a 78, 87, 92 and now 2010, love them all!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't look at any others. When I found out my other car's suspension was shot, I immediately left the shop, walked next door to the salesfloor & found the sales lady I had talked to a few years ago. We found my car at another dealership and she had it to me the next day.

my next car was supposed to be a Mini Cooper S.....till I drove one.

We were at a dealership buying my husband a GMC Acadia....while waiting on the paperwork we drove pretty much every car there just to kill some time....including a transformer's edition camaro.....we had them locating a summit white 6spd before we left....sales guy couldn't believe his luck!
