I'm going to be adding a 2012 ZL1 to my stable, and my old dealer (Central) went out of business in 2009, so I'm looking for references on other local dealers.
I went to Fremont Chevrolet since that is where I got my Grand Prix serviced.

Some of the salesmen there are downright dishonest and shady, but the guy I worked with and the sales manager are both awesome and were very courteous. If you want more info, I can find the guy's card to let you know who to ask for.

I got the car for MSRP and there was no hassle about it. I've noticed some other dealers in the area marking up their Camaros quite a bit but that wasn't the case here (which is also partially why I went here). I told the salesman that I wanted to order it to make sure I get exactly what I want and so we went in and he let me go over all the options etc. He even filled the car up with the first tank of gas and put premium in it when I requested it with no complaints.

My only very minor complaint was that they were really busy last night so getting all the paperwork signed took a little longer than usual but that is not a big deal

Oh and here's the only picture I have for right now. It's not great but I'm going to take more tonight, hopefully (assuming the weather holds up). Pyro, I might not be able to make it on Saturday but I will be there on Sunday. We'll have to see. Either way, the Camaro will be going

Thanks for the input. If you get a chance, let me have the contact information for the sales manager that worked with you. No huge hurry since I won't be able to place an order until Q4.

Gratz!!

As for your question about the shifter...yes you will have some noise. I just installed a Hurst ST shifter last weekend and I noticed the noise too. The kit came with some dampners but the instructions said not to use them if you are going to be doing any racing or compeditive driving, needless to say I threw em in the trash.
