Hey Dan Those were the good ole days. Your car sure has transformed into a race machine. Are you not taking it to AZ?
I remember that day well also!! The day Dan gave Darren and I whiplash test driving his new car!!! The day Paul famously said "My car's only gonna be at LPE a couple weeks!" AND, The day I signed up for my OWN 650 package!!!

Those were indeed the good ole days. C5 fest might top that day with all of us there enjoying these beasts!!

Yes, that day had a lot of GREAT things in it!

The C5fest should prove to be even better.. more LPE cars, more friends, a long weekend.. nice weather.. and a dominant LPE car on each track!

Aw man, you guys are really killing me here....I never got the time to go up and see the LPE shop. Well at least I will get to meet the crew at the Fest.

Well my car will be out of commission for the next 3 or 4 weeks getting some TLC.

Just hope that rearend comes in soon! Should be any day now from what they say. I dont know but trying to get the latest and greatest is always a waiting game. Everything seems like it takes a lot longer than expected.

I just hope I can get in a few passes on the strip and some curvy road therapy before the Fest!

Hi guys (and gal ),
Got the dinner invite, thank you, but I have to decline (sadly, but for a fun reason ). I am doing track certification at local 4-mile road course morning of Sat the 16th. Plan to track the car a lot there this summer. Just did a 1-day private session last week at Spring Mountain on their very, very tight and technical (banked, negative banked, increasing radius, drop turns, etc.) course. Was an amazing blast. Boiled the brake fluid on literally the last lap of the day - was running it hard on that tight track! Anyway, will swap to a ATE fluid and be fine.

I still have stock chassis other than Hotchkis sway bars. They did a nice job, by mid afternoon I was making the instructor's car really, really plow hard through the corners to keep up but then I was getting comfortable enough to lose him on the short straights. About then he got in the car and rode with me rather than trying to follow and critique over the radio from behind .

Anyway, all my best to the LPE staff and Brothers and Sisters at the Fest, very much look forward to going next year (I WILL be there ).

Oh, some pics of those sway bars causing the poor instructor to have to lean hard on his left front!

Man that looks like you have been having fun! Noe the less this Fest will be one for the record books! You are close enough to sneak over and back before they even realize you were gone.
