It's funny people always kinda scoff when I tell them my Camaro is a 6, but when they ride in it they're amazed by the power. True I'd love to have an SS but the 6 is fun in it's own right.

I admit I am very jaded when it comes to power because of my supercharged v8, but after not driving it for 3 months the V6 camaro is A LOT of fun

My parents have a 2LT and it is a blast to drive!! If it wasn't for the sound you would think it had a V8 under the hood.

Before I got my V6 I drove the V8 man, V6 auto, v6 man camaros, and the 2011 v6 man mustang, V8 Man mustang. I really liked the V8 Mustang, but I also really liked the V6 Camaro with manual only. I thought the Auto was a bit boring. The SS didn't handle as good as the V6 plus I wanted something with good gas mileage. Didn't go with the mustang because the Camaro styling was just to hot and dollar for dollar I think the V6 manual was a good all around compromise. By the time I add my headers I should be in the 13sec times for the 1/4mile I don't plan to race it but just have some fun every now and then but its basically an everyday driver.
I also liked the V6 Mustang manual but it didnt feel as good as the camaro seating but thats just me.

I like the Camaro and all but a few things should brought to light:

1. All Challengers have independent rear suspensions

2. You drove a 2010... The 2011 V6 has 300hp, MUCH improved suspension, and upgraded seats and interior

Just saying... Based on most reviews out there the 2011 is amazing.

It's nice that Dodge upped the ante w/the 2011. If they hadn't, who in their right mind would buy a V6? The SRT is like 470 HP stock or thereabouts. That thing's gotta be beastly!

I also like that they have 3 engine choices. If Chevy had offered a slightly smaller V8 for less than the price of an SS, I would've been all over that.

They put much smaller tires on the V6 model. To me at least, it gives it a kind of 'mushroom' appearance from the back and front. The V8 models have a much better stance with their wider tires.

What's odd is that every time I light the rear tires up both will smoke on dry pavement, but I got caught in a surprise storm with sleet and only one will would spin
