Happy to hear GM is selling these great Camaros overseas. Hope they sell millions... The more they can produce and sell, the better it is for the company and our economy; in turns will be able to invest in more research and development for better cars. GM is already doing very well in China with the Buicks. It's an economy of enormous scale. Let's just say 1% of their population is making enough making enough to buy these Ke Mai Luos and only 1% of these "wealthy" people will buy the Camaros, that's 150K vehicles for this ~1.5B people country. Are there any Chinese speaking members on this forum? Isn't "Mai Ke Lou" a type of Chinese dry sausage?

Chinese have a problem with the R's in their speech. LUO is the closest they can get to RO....I have Chinese friends that always have problem saying "fried rice"

I love the camaro taking on new areas, but changing the name is stupid to me.
Do we change the name of import cars here for lambos or anything?
I know the fairladyz is the 350 here but I dont know, not liking the name change

They didn't change the name, 科迈罗 is just the Chinese name for it (in Chinese).

I had a Fairlady Z in Japan! It was the 280Z here in the States back then ('90). Man, 120KPH seemed so fast on those tiny 2-lane roads!

With the automation of the Camaro plants, they can build them over there and make a killing.

Think of how many americans buy a Lamborghini or Ferrari? They are probably cheaper in Italy than they are here. So lets make some extra money on the Chinese
