Another Epic Dealer Failure
I went into my dealer today, (i live on guam and its the only chevy dealer on island) and this is pretty much how the convo went.
ME Manager Do you guys have any allocations left for the 2010 camaro. Oh no we wont be getting one this year. Ok cuz i know alot of dealerships had allocations that customers could pre-order for. I wanted to get one but you guys dont have an allocation for the preorder? Oh what kind did you want? cuz you know it comes with three engines, the 6 the 8 and the super 8 (I ignored the error in this question and answered...) Oh im looking to get a 2SS Oh well you see, all the pre-orders were is a way for GM to see what combinations would be popular, those people really arnt going to get there orders, it was more like a survey. I just turned around and walked out the door without saying anything else. No way im going to order from a dealership that the MANAGER knows that little about the cars he is selling. Your dealer is an idiot. Fortunately, GM will overlook this, allowing his misfortunate customers to obtain the cars they ordered anyway. Confused and frustrated, the stupid dealer will be redeemed by their new cars that were never supposed to arrive. It's a good thing that this idiot dealer was fortunate enough to sell quality products.
