Just picked up our vert yesterday and haven't figured out all the kinks yet, but...

2. We immediately noticed the doors seemed heavier than my 2010 SS and have had to 're-close' the door after failing to get it the first time.

3. I haven't had time to program the door opener yet, but again, on my 2010 SS it was tricky. It was a back and forth process from hit and hold the button, then press the button on the opener, then press the button again and again, but eventually worked. I figure the same will be the case with the vert.

and 4. I don't know yet, but bet they weren't. Two issues for me on this: 1) we saw the truck bring it in and were there to buy it before the manager even knew it was on the lot, so they probably rushed to get it ready. and the biggie 2) they told us we can't put the top down yet because they need to get the program for it. ??? Supposedly there is a program on the way in the next couple days that they need to put in the car before we can use the top. Sounds weird to me, but I don't have a clue. I'm sure if the top wasn't put down, that they didn't put the bolts in so I'll have to watch for that when i take it back in later.

As far as other things, I did notice that the engine sounded odd to me, but I'm used to the V8 instead of the V6. I know it's going to be a lot quieter, but i can hear some type of clicking. Another thing I'll inquire about when i go back in later this week, unless it works itself out...

One thing I did when programming the door opener. Mine would not program when I was parked in the garage, when I parked it outside the garage, it work the first time.

I was told there is a recall on the water bag for the roof. Something about if you lower the roof in freezing temps. it could damage the roof.

Mine also has the lope. I kinda like it. Wouldn't mind that lope in the exhaust sound as well.

One thing with my roof when down. I noticed the passenger side sits deeper in the well than the driver side. I'm going to let it open/close for a while and let it break in and see how it looks later.

Though you can still reach into the trunk through the curtain behind the seat when the top is up.
Can someone tell me where this trunk key lock is? I looked all over for it, could not find it in the manual and I was at the dealership picking up my splash guards and 3 salesmen and a mechanic could not find it either.

Hopefully this is just an unlucky isolated incident, but the power steering has been giving me problems at low speeds (parking and reversing). It has been going out for a few seconds then returns (happened about a dozen times so far). The dealership took a look and is ordering a new part. Luckily, it was malfunctioning when they looked at it.

Aside from tonneau cover bolts not being installed properly, and a "whistling" noise (mentioned in another string)....the car is GREAT.

All I have had so far is the tonneau cover bolts not being installed. Have not made an appt at the dealer yet to install them as its been too cold and wet to go topless anyway. Supposed to get 3 -8" of snow tomorrow so it will be sitting in the garage for a while now anyway.

It is to the side of the back seat on the drivers side, between the fabric of the seat and the side panel. You will have to pull the seat a bit to actually see the keyhole.

Mandog, it is on the righthand side of the back cushion not the seat cousin. It is tucked behind. I saw it in the supplement pages and went out to take a look.

Thanks enVader & Nutbutt - Found it. Doesn't do anything when I turn it, but at least I know where it is.

Damn 3-8?? We are only gonna get 1-3. I hate snow so much now. Had to get all the plows back out.

There are a few of us that have problems getting it to work. I can't get the key to turn in the lock.

Picked my vert up a week ago Monday and drove it home from the dealer (65 miles) with the top down, tonneau cover installed. Loved it!!!

That night I read the "My Tonneau Cover almost took flight" thread here on Camaro5. Went out to the garage to take a look at the car and found the tonneau button kit in the trunk...
Dealers are definitely not aware of the bulletin regarding their install.

Found directions here on Camaro5 and installed them myself. Very easy and saved what I'm sure would have been a frustrating trip to the dealer. Cover fits nice and snug now!!!

I since have looked at 3 other verts at dealerships in my area and NONE have had the kit installed. Word has obviously not gotten out to the dealers yet.
