Yes you are correct.my wife has a dark silver Yukon.Wash it once a month & it looks good for a long long time.On the other hand I have to wash my white camaro every time I take her out.Brake dust and road grime show especially bad on the lower panels and the rear.Still a lot easier than maintaining the black vehicles that I have owned in the past.

Glad I bought my 2001 Harley in black. Never get tired of black. Black is bad. My 1995 Trans Am is silver metallic. It’s a great color for hiding dirt. My 1st choice for my 2010 Camaro was silver but then I talked myself into black with orange rally stripes & inferno orange interior. I ordered the car in black. My nephew & a good friend tried talking me into getting white while my other friend, who is a mechanic said white is for girls. I was able to cancel the order & found another dealership that had one in white with all the options I wanted & gave me a slightly better deal on the price. I am very happy with my summit white Camaro with the inferno orange interior & orange rally stripes. Good luck!
