I know there is 2 different TCM's version 1 and 2. What was your build date? and that will tell me which version.

How much TQ do you have dialed in?

Thanks

Catman
I had an issue? I think maybe you are refering to when I didn't feel the firm shifts... correct? Eitherway, if you are refering to that, it turned out he didn't firm up my shifts, but he DID remove my TQ management.

I have 10% removed on D, and 30% removed on S. (Includes Tapshift M)

It ended up feeling really cool.. Pulls alot harder. I'm not sure about the TCM version 1 or 2... though

Also, just remembered this, but Vince and I were talking about this Jan/Feb 2010 that there was an issue with some of the software in the V6 autos. I'm #57505 but a guy that was in the 7*,*** number production had completely different TCM software from the factory. It was almost like there was a glitch somewhere at the factory. Seemed that us earlier cars had a hybrid style L99 software installed. So that may be that TCM v. 1 / 2 thing your talking about.

Thanks Jagan............I knew you HAD an issue that is why I asked. Your new numbers are what I am after then. I will send Vince an email and ask for the same numbers you have. Thanks.

As for the TCM 1 or 2............when was you Camaro built will tell me which one you have. Let me know becasue the tunes are different for the two TCM's.

Thanks

Ooooh that's what you meant... I'm pretty sure it's TCM 2. But I don't even know how to read my own VIN lol. So I'm not sure when it's made. It doesn't have the Chicklet that's for sure lol... 2010... the actual date im not sure.

Someone posted a break down of what the VIN numbers meant on BV6 but I'm having a hard time finding where that was at.

This puts you somewhere after the first 50,00 built. give or take a few.

The numbers after the A are your production number or serial number. The first one off the line was 100,001 when they got to the 99,999 build it rolled over to 200,000.

Hope this helps out.
