Yep. Stock everything. Except exhaust, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't affect the tranny. Not to mention the transmission acted up well before my exhaust was installed.

Car is still in the shop according to GM they cannot reproduce the problem. Mine started with grinding now its locking. They will finally disassemble the transmission. I am still contemplating class action lawsuit if not properly fixed. Anyone in canada interested pm me.

So still waiting. They took the transmission off .. Did not check the torque on the pressure plates .. :(
GM tech promised me a call back did not get back to me.. Called back he is off for the day..
I wonder if they will fix properly this time.. GM is bugging them because they have daily meeting about my car. Well at least someone at GM is sorta trying. The problem is that the dealership cannot fix a design problem..

Hopefully you get some feed back soon. I was going to try and swap out the tranny fluid this weekend but my better judgment kept me from it. I didn't want GM throwing that back at my face. I am now at 12k miles and still, under hard acceleration shifting from 1st to 2nd feels as if it sticking. I have to jam it into second.

From what i have read it won't help but it will make it worse as in void your powertrain

Changing the fluid shouldnt void your warranty if you run the weight that the owners manual calls for. It didnt in my case at least. Depends on your dealer i suppose. Alot of guys tried the fluid swap early on and ended up getting repairs/swaps including myself. Check with summit to see if the rp is still the wonder solution for his.

So apparently they are replacing the clutch and slave cylinder. .. Had a fight with GM over getting the transmission inspected. I said I will not take the car back until someone inspect the gears and syncros...

I noticed this a few times but now at 17,000 miles it doesnt happen anymore.

GM is full of fail! Sorry, I defend the brand every day f my life, and end up looking like a jackass when everything ends up breaking. Brand new car with all the problems I had/have?! Bullshit, im tired of standing up for gm, and tired of going to a crappy dealer with shitty CS every few weeks for warranty work.
Still have to get my heated seats reprogrammed, and the noisey heater core fixed

I love my car, its great looking in and out, just wish it was more reliable...GMs customer service is generally amazing in terms of customer service and ill give them that, but all these warranty repairs on my car is getting annoying fast.

To be fair it's not GM's transmission that is a fail, its just the Japanese POS that Aisin won the bid with knowing it wasn't designed for high rpm shifts. GM is in the process of finding a new manufacturer to replace the Aisin with.

2011Camaro so what I am supposed to do till them hope that GM fixes it...bullsh*t.. I have been hearing this for more than a year... My car will be out of warranty till they fix it.

Move to canada to see how good their customer service is .. I had to get the US branch involved in my case!!

Hey don't get mad at me I didn't do you wrong or choose the transmission. The driveline has a 5 yr/100k mile warranty, so unless you drive a whole lot I don't think you'll have warranty issues. All I'm saying is it's not like GM built the car knowing the transmission would fail, but experience is the most brutal of teachers and obviously Aisin was a bad choice, so until they find a replacement and issue the recall all we can do is wait and keep checking with our dealers and with GM.
