Upgrades? what upgrades? haha just J/K. I have to say that its getting better for v6 as far as upgrades go but no near close support as a mustang. Just a bama SCT 93 tune is putting down extra 30 rear wheel HP on a stock car for mustang and not to mention a free lifetime tune all for only $300 bucks. I dont think you will never get that with a camaro but I think some tuners are currently working on it.
I did the same as you when purchasing my camaro, it was between a new 2011 mustang vs a new 2011 camaro. You see what I also picked but purely for looks and not performance. I hate to admit but mustang's new 305hp vvti engine is a way faster platform vs our big camaro.
I say go with where the heart is first for your first mod which is the header. Any reputable or experienced racer/tuner/builder will tell you that a good set of header will set you straight for all the rest of mods that will follow. Good luck!

Thats good to know about the header. I really don't know anything about that kind of stuff. I want to work on the sound to be deeper but not obnoxiously loud like the foreign cars that race down the street. I got the 1LT package so it has all the gadgets I need. I am gonna replace the headlights also.

Awesome!! Congrats! Speaking of the sound..I have a 1LT also and recently put flowmasters american thunder axel back exhaust and love it! I wanted a low, deep rumble and this exhaust is perfect. Couldn't be happier!

Mine is 3 weeks old and already I have redone the exhaust, replaced the running light bezels to chrome ones, also added chrome reverse light bezels, tinted the windows, added some quarter panel stripes, dash decal, door sills, hot pink bowtie centers on my rims, and have a carbon fiber dash kit, a hot pink bowtie window decal for the rear window, and sequential tail light kit on the way. Definately plan to change the headlights and the front and rear bowties as well.
