Metra kit installed

Just got done installing my metra dash kit and Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD 7" install was straight forward but the metra kit seems not to be operating everything the heated seats button does not work even though it's activated anybody else having this problem with this unit?

no problems with mine. i've got the pioneer too. 4200 model

FYI - the seats wont heat unless the car is on. Try starting your car and hitting the buttons. I'll bet ya a buck fifty they work =). Good looking install!

Hmm, then I am at a loss. I have now installed 4 Metra kits and have not had an issue. One thing to check, there is the pink wire that runs from the back of the Metra face to the control module. It is independent of the (22?) pin connector. Make sure that is hooked up, as it is essential for full HVAC control.

Beyond that, I would call Metra up. They are really good people and want to help get things working.

There is an update for the kit from metra, might need to contact them or your local metra dealer and ask about it. Just had to update one last week.

You talking about the phone mute (Pink wire) If so it's hooked up

No, not the phone mute. If memory serves, that's a brown wire. Give me a sec, i have a spare harness laying around someplace. I'll snap a pic for you.
