So apparently OnStar is coming out with an OnStar mirror equipped with bluetooth as an add on for vehicles not equipped with Onstar. My first thought is doesn't the vehicle need the bluetooth module? And if it doesn't will it work with non bluetooth equipped 5th Gens
? Hopefully we will find out as it is available in spring of 2011 at best buy.

I skimmed through it as I am at work but surely myself or someone else can attempt to integrate this into our existing 5thgens.

It doesnt need the module as everything it needs is in the mirror itself. I saw a video of it being introduced and supposedly theres some sort of Verizon cell phone in the mirror which they use for all the data which would take the place of the module.
