It is indeed a pre production car and you can NOT get into the car. I was VERY disappointed after driving 30+ miles and paying $25 for parking and entry into the event. Getting up close and personal with the Camaro was my only reason for going today. I will not order one until I can at least climb in and fondle the controls.

Oh btw............. it was a Silver SS.

Maybe since the Chicago show ends today, Chevrolet will wise up and send one of the production level cars up from there to Milwaukee so that people can get a better feel for the car.

The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."

Thanks for the invite Scotty! If I can't find one before yours comes in, I WILL take you up on your offer.

And I'll be sure to touch all the buttons but what I really want to fondle is the steering and shifting controls, you know.............. the fun stuff!

Is your V6 going to be a manual or a stick?

Well I am glad it is a silver SS! Is it an RS or just an SS? No sitting in it means easier for me to take photographs of it! I am a little upset you can't get in it tho... Is it ropped off and pretty easy to get photos of? That is all I care! I will wait till a dealer near me gets one in to sit in one I suppose!
