The guys at Vararam and myself all want this done for you guys but we sure as heck want it done right. I spent most of Friday afternoon out at Vararam so they could put a production unit on my car for testing. It was determined that one part of the production tooling was out of spec (barely) and it was something that affected how the engine reacted to the incoming airflow at the top end of the RPM range. The tool was being remade over the weekend and we expect to have an updated intake with that new component on my car hopefully by tomorrow.

Like I've been saying all along...Vararam is more concerned with making sure it's done right and to the best possible performance increase than hitting a date.
I appreciate what you are doing for us and vararam and I am sure that alot of others feel the same. We been waiting this long so I don't really mind waiting a little longer to get a product that is going to be phenomenon. At least we know its coming and is right around the corner, not like these other peoples or companies that promise but dont come throughI am with you as I understand that sometimes RD and production can be frustrating. Keep doing you bro.. and keep us posted

The frustration is there because it's been dangled about an operational unit since mid-February and still no numbers, just promises it'll be great.

I'm glad to hear I may not have to "great-pumpkin" it with a green filter on my orange car.

thank you, that makes a big difference with me...if they would have explained that, it would have made it understandable right away

what I plan on doing is just making a cover for it for shows...I'll just put it on & the green filter will disappear...then I'll take it off before I drop the hood back down

Oh, I spoke with them about the green filter as well. It may be possible to get an off-white/light gray filter instead that uses clear oil instead of green colored oil. They were going to check into this as well...stay tuned.
Just got off the phone with Green Filter and they will be able to do the filter in white - got some ordered and on the way!!!!!

Where are we with the numbers, the cost and availability? I know, I know, all the things everyone has been asking since the initial post. Just trying to get an idea if we have late breaking info. Also the filter in red would be too fly!

I'm not too worried about filter color. I'd take the green if I had to without issue, but the white should be nicer!

I'd take white over green any day of the week.

Hmm, maybe I should wait until Friday to post up the results though. I could have fun on April Fools Day with this...
