joe gibbs oil
any running Joe gibbs oil in there ls3 2010=2011 camaro? if so what is your opinion on how to works.

It has a lot of ZDDP and Moly and no detergents. The high levels of ZDDP would wreck havoc on our catalytic converters. It is a Group V synthetic (ester based). From readings elsewhere, it is pretty much a clone of Redline. About all it is good for is a day full of racing and then it would need changed. At $15 a quart, that is just ignoranus.
A group IV synthetic (PAO base) with a splash of Group V technology is actually better than a Ester Base only oil. That is what makes Amsoil the best "Real" synthetic oil on the market. You just have to get over their marketing/selling/buying bullarky first. |
