I was on my way to Dallas from Houston after having it only a day and decided to test her out. I reached 152 before I saw traffic up ahead. I didn't think about there being a governor or else I would have pushed it a bit more but I reached 152 in the V6 and it didn't slow me down, 155 might be the limit.

140 mph for my 2LT/RS one morning on the way to work! I told (bragged actually) a few people at work that morning and guess what? The NEXT morning the Pike County Sheriff's deputy was waiting for me at the top of the hill (just past where I began slowing down the morning before), and I KNOW that he was waiting for me because as soon as I went by him (at 54 mph) he immediately pulled out, got behind me,& proceeded to follow me about 14 miles - all the way to my job's parking lot! He never actually stopped and said anything, but I know he was PO'ed that I didn't do another "test run" that morning so he could ticket me!. It appears that I have a bonafied "SNITCH" in my workplace - I have a pretty good idea who it is too! In any case, 140 mph is pretty darned fast, and I'm VERY happy with my "little old V6". And BTW, my girl handled the 140 mph like a trooper - she stuck to the highway like glue and handled purrfectly!

Hit 135 in a 55 this morning...thats as fast as i have ever been in a car and i don't think i will ever do that again on a public road....
Felony speeds people...like straight to jail, car impounded Plus i only have 2 points left on my license |
