Have you considered maybe trading yours plus adding in some cash (or possibly even trading straight accross with someone) for the polished set?

http://www.calchrome.com/

They are an hour and a half drive out of Bakersfield. I believe they will let you drive to their shop, they will mount up the chromes and take your stockers in exchange. All you pay is the chroming fee. They may charge to mount and balance your tires on the chrome wheels too.

If you drive to them you save the two way shipping and the cost of fronting the security deposit.

Not for me, pink has the polished set, she wants chromed wheels by C5fest.

A little too far for that. There has to be someone local, since the dealership has an IBM sitting outside with chrome wheels. I'll go ask next time we pick up her new speakers.

Ah, I hear yah man. I know there is a place in town that chromes lifts and does powder coating, don't see why it should be a problem to do wheels too. I'll give my buddy a call and find out if I can get a name from him.

If you're doing powdercoat you'll need to take it to a shop to have it done but if you're painting them yourself it varies by what you want. I actually used a method provided by a So Cal member that leaves you with a matte (flat) black finish and it only cost me $12 total for the two cans of paint I used but would suggest using 3 going the route I did.

I think powdercoat is ranging in price from good deals being around $50 a wheel up to almost $100 a wheel. When you powdercoat to you have to bring in the wheel alone with nothing else (no tires, TPMS, or wheel weights) so keep that in mind with having to unmount then remount and balance the wheels. It usually can be knocked out in a day but depends on how busy the shop is.

As far as window tint I should still have my guys number (if not can get it) what were you looking to do? The back 3 or the front ones as well?
