We are driving straight to Las Cruces as far as I know. I am pretty sure the El Paso guys are going to meet us at the Hotel in Las Cruces on Thursday morning.. I will get with Viper1Cobra (from El Paso) and make sure that is the plan..

I'd guess after leaving Fort Stockton, there 'might' be one more fuel stop before Las Cruces. It's about 285 miles or 4.5 hours (at the speed limit) between the two. That's a long haul without a stop, especially after lunch.

I figure we need to stop in Tucson, AZ to fill up with gas which is 3 hrs 59 mins / 274.65 miles, then NON-STOP to Chandler, AZ..

Also, someone mentioned there is a border check outside las cruces, not sure if it's coming in, or going out, but all we need is a drivers license right??? I've never gone this way so that's why I'm asking! lol

I just talked to Viper1Cobra and they said about 90% of the time, they will be open to do border checks.. We should allow a little bit of time for this..

Dude, we are seriously going to have to change you're name to Rolnfast... 284 miles at 80 is 3.5 hours...

Border checks are a breeze, as long as the traffic leading into it isn't too bad...

OK Guys & Gals.. I put together a spreadsheet for our travels from DFW to Ft. Stockton where we will meet up with the South/Central Texas Crew. It maps out our trip from DFW to Abilene to Ft. Stockton to Las Cruces then on to Chandler as well as the fuel stops in between and reverse trip for all of you that are staying in Van Horn at the El Capitan Hotel..

Hope this helps !!
