Now why would the camaro be capable of a 12.58 if the lighter weight mustang that consistently puts down within 5-10rwhp of the ls3 while holding a gearing advantage and a suspension advantage (for drag racing SRA>IRS) not be capable of the same or faster? Hmmmm.

There are quite a few more that have run sub-12.8 ET's, especially automatics, but I'm not going to spend the time finding them all for you. Just go to the corral or the mustang source and ask or look around. There is PLENTY of proof, including a few videos here and there. Send a PM to NHRA stocker and ask him what he thinks. Or you could PM one of the members that owns both or previously owned a camaro and now owns a 5.0. IIRC one of the camaro owners here has seen one run a 12.6 and even checked out the car to see if it was stock. Hopefully they chime in here. Waiting for the BS calls, "hotshot"
