Jeff, can you list the users and what spare parts we will have on the first page somewhere? I'm going to have one spare tire wheel and tire, a Maggie belt, enginer main drive belt and hopefully two cog drive belts if the arrive on time. The Maggie belts are tought to get and will be in great demand if someone should lose one on the trip.

I spoke to the Quartzsite Chief of Police today and he thought the best spot in town would be at the east end and at the intersection of Mockingbird St. at Riggles Ave. (the area in red) Exit 19. There's an AM/PM here with a new back lot for trucks but they don't carry diesel fuel yet. I spoke to the manager (Gary) and he gave us permission to use the lot as a meeting point while we wait for the others to fuel.

The Chief also offered us any traffic control that we may need to get us back onto the freeway. So between AZ DPS running us a traffic break and slowing/stopping all eastbound I-10 traffic and the locals hooking us up....

Looks like we're all set!!

Two cog drive belts arrived today so we will have cog and standard Maggie belt spares now.

The Bay Area group will meet at Hacienda Crossing which is north of 580 off of Hacienda Dr. in Dublin. There's a Starbucks and Shell station for those who need to top off.

At this point NorCal will need to top off since Bako to Cabazon is 205 miles.

From there it's on to Cabazon....
