Thanks for the pics. I hadn't seen the IOM vert with the ground effects yet.

I wanted people to know I'm coming - am a quiet guy (IT geek type) but inside there's someone screaming for attention! Therefore IO/IO it's off to work I go! I wanted people to know I'm coming, and will 10 yrs from now. So this is the color for me. What is the color for you???

It's all a matter pf personal preference, like eating at my favorite restaurant - you can't make a bad choice, all the food is great. All of the combos appeal to someone! ;-)
Thanks and congratulations on your order. So based on everyone's feedback, I think the black interior on a convertible is definitely out. Thanks for the reality check. Now I can focus on the exterior color and if/what stripes to get.

I thought the interior would be too much, but it really sets off the car with the top down.
The black is serious and menacing...

I think EVERYONE goes through this thought when they order the IOM/IOM combo. But it is the #1 thing I get complimented on and I can not imagine having any other combination. Went to a car show today with 4 black Camaros and 3 other IOM Camaros and most of the people swarmed my car because the interior just POPS with the top down.

The IOM interior looks awesome and absolutely pops! It wasn't however 'for me'. I also wanted lighter seats in the vert and the 2 tone interior really looks great on these cars so I went with grey interior.

I know this wasn't an option in your original post and not trying to derail it but I've seen the grey interior with RJT, IBM and Black and it looks really good.

One final comment, I do not think the IOM will look dated in a few years, its classic.

We were a little on the fence with the IOM\IOM at first and then decided to go with it and I am so happy I did. The combination just screams look at me here I come. However the decision is yours and black with the IOM accents will also look great.

Was talking to my son (the psychology major) about this thread last night, and he made an interesting comment;

The BLK/BLK is for those of us with a "Batman" complex
The IOM/IOM is for those of us with a "Superman" complex

I've got a rally yellow on order. Does that mean I have a big bird complex?
