Here I am looking through pictures and video's for the millionth time and I realized something.

I haven't come across a photo or video of the glove box being opened or the size of it. Since I tend to carry way too much crap (I'm a photographer part time), I've a vested interest in how big it is so I can shove as much in there as possible.

Is there a vid or photo out there?

I'd hate to see the 'Junk Drawer' in your house. I can't stand a cluttered glove box. Don't know why, I guess I'm just kinda 'Monkish'. My glove box in my Liberty has three things in it. Registration paper. Lug key key. Tire gauge.

I could swear I have seen the glove box open on a video or pic but I can't find it.

Junk drawers at house are fine...I just have to carry a lot of things when I'm out and about and would love a nice deep glove box so that the interior isn't cluttered up.

Also, does the glove box have a keyed lock? My last car did, but my current car does not and I wish it did.

Actually yes there will be...it's old school though - incandescent light bulb that makes a slightly yellow light.

It's not very big. I'd say on the smaller side of things. But yes, it does lock.

See you have to quantify that...honestly. I've seen many that look small on the outside and are rather roomy on the inside..and vice versa. The one in my old Lexus GX470 looked large till you opened it and realized it was mostly taken up with a 6 disc changer in it.

Someone HAS to have taken a picture of it...

Sorry, I looked and came up empty. I didn't take measurements but I have seen teh inside. There's no disc changer or anything stupid like that in there so it's not deceiving like that. It seemed smaller than the one in my truck but not much smaller.

And by the way, you might get better responses if you named your thread title something that actually had meaning like 'Looking for pictures of glove box'
