I thought the 2011 up V6 models have dual exhaust too.

The California Special is just an appearance package on the GT, no different then the Camaro's optional rally sport or anniversary package.

For the Current 2011 production line up

V6
Lacking fogs in grill and 5.0/ GT badges

GT
Fogs in grill, 5.0 badge on fenders and GT gas cap

Boss
obvious

GT500
obvious

Any other new Mustang you see on the road is from a job from a tuner like Roush, Shelby, Saleen, ect. which get sent there for modification and then sold, just like SLP, Hennessy, Nickey, ect.

MMR GT 500 Modular Mustang goes 6.99 @ 205

This is the first pass in history of a Modular Powered Mustang in the Outlaw class running in the sixes! This represents the world record for the fastest full body modular, Fastest ladder bar equipped car, fastest pass on a 29x10.5w and the worlds fastest GT500

Its crazy what this little 330ci mod motor can do with two big honkin turbo's.

for keeping the stock block, heads, frame and sheet metal. Anybody can swap out an engine engine in favor for a big cube race engine and tube frame to run 6's but it take a lot more time and money to do it with modified stock parts.

Quoted from MMR on SVTP

The Chassis (other than the NHRA requirements) is stock along with the basic engine (block and cylinder heads- heavily modified of course), we have seen some reports saying that it has carbon fiber body panels but they are all 100% stock including the rocker sills and framework that they attach to.

What isnt stock:
Exhaust
Intake
The turbo Kit
The brakes
The windows
The steering wheel
Wheels
parachutes- (to help stop)
Wheeliebars (to prevent a dangerously high wheelie)
The Dash board (we made a mold of the factory dash but out of fiberglass)

You guys know full and well that there is two threads for you to post you mustang crap into. We are not going to argue about this anymore. Stop making new threads when you know exactly where you should be putting the new mustang info. Any more new threads from members that KNOW BETTER will be looked upon as nothing less than trolling activity.

My 4cylinder 2.4L took over 400wHP for 80K before I sold it.. And I abused the sh!t out of this car..
so for 2.4L that is 166wHP a liter
So on 5.0 thats over 800wHP
and 6.2L thats over 1000wHP on stock everything (not fuel system obviously)..
Or if you go by cylinders its over 800wHP for both engines..

So can you put down this wheel HP on these engine and drivetrain and abused them for 80K miles..
I dont think I have seen it tried..
these were two 750wHP LS3's that werent daily driver but went to drag strip often but dont think anyone pushed stock block past that..
