I had paper tags on mine when the first mods went on too, that doesn't mean anything. I heard from a couple of different people that it had something done. I know for sure it was running race gas. Why run high octane race gas on a stock unmodded car?

Modded or not, the new Boss is one sweet car. I hate the red/black scheme but the Comp Orange and the white are killer.

I heard from a couple people that big foot lives in the Michigan woods. Where did you hear this stuff and why is it credible? The car was stock other than drag radials according to the people that were there. If you really have some proof I would like to know because I am interested in what the boss can really do.

How do you know "for sure it was running race gas?"

Saying, "I heard from a couple of different people that it had something done" doesn't really make your case.

The 1/4 he ran on street tires was dead nuts with what others are running bone stock (12.3s@116), so it's not exactly out of the norm.

They said themselves it had race gas, that's not secondhand information.

On looks, it's a toss up between that "weathered" Camaro and the Boss. Neither one looks good to me. Not that I don't respect the Boss, I just simply don't care for it enough to want to own it. It's like those old, 70s style avacado green appliances. Might perform nicely, but you're disappointed to have to look at them.

I wonder what Mr. 14.01 was thinking when that thing took off?

They must have had an over/under thing. Like on price is right when someone bids one dollar. No way that guy heard that car and saw those slicks and thought it woudn't run.

They award the cash to who was the closest, not like price is right. The contestant was just dumb.

The people on pass time never have any idea what's going on. I saw one guy ask if a gt500 was naturally aspirated.

Quick shifting!!!!!

But if I had to pick between the two, I'd choose the Pass Time car with the smooth consistent electric like automatic trans even though Lethal's has a 2.9L Whipple vs 2.3L TVS on the Pass Time car.

Here is VMP's 2011 GT now running in the 9's with the stock engine, stock Roush charger, stock auto trans, and stock converter.

I almost wish I would of bought a GT auto and put $12k into vs buying mine but my GF reminded me that ET's arnt everything and I'd be missing all the little things that make a GT500 special.

The have a converter in it now and is what allowed them to move into the 9's.
