I think I know what you're looking for. They do currently have a sweet blazer... The last of the full size ones. Like a 2 door Tahoe. It's pretty sweet!

I must admit to a little of that, but I know it'll come back perfect and it will have that lope I've been wanting. I'm pretty excited. It'll be on the dyno early next week!

Preferably 4WD but I'm making it work with RWD right now, so it wouldn't matter much to me.

And yeah, around $5k would be great.

They have a few I noticed last night. I will swing by tomorrow and get some pics and details... One seems right up your alley... It may be a tad new but its no frills, regular cab, long bed 1500. I'll check it out.

I haven't done it myself, but a lot of guys have and really like it. Supposed to be very durable and can be removed.

I am considering turning my all original 89 IROC 350 that my dad bought new into a mildly prepped autocross car. I would:

Add stainless steel brake lines and some good pads.
Add subframe connectors
Replace the original and worn out struts (McPhersons).
Maybe add some lowering (stiffer) springs or just replace the fronts.
I have a set of 15" firebird wheels I put some good R compound tires on for track use only.
Yank out all the smog pump crap and disconnect the A/C.
Maybe a better set of gears... 3.55 or something.

THOUGHTS??? Am I insane for doing that to this car? I don't want to use the 2010. Something about tearing up a $37,000 car doesn't seem right to me.
