Protecting the new car (products)
Just wondered what you are using to protect your cars. The dealer told me to not get wax on the stripes as they are vinyl. To use a product by Mothers (vinyl protector) on them.
What are you using to protect and condition the leather? I have heard you should not wax a new car for a couple of months as the paint needs to cure and it doesn't when wax is applied before it has. Not sure if this applies to today's automobile paint or not. Thanks for your input.

I don't think that's necessarily THE answer. There are many answers to this question, and my car is just as clean and nice as everyone else's and I do not use a full line of Adams. I simply buy what I like according to my needs, and the chemical makeup of the product.
The products you need really depends on your cleaning and detail methods. Are you a sunday driveway-carwasher and hand-waxer? Or do you have access to a more enabling space like a detail bay? The answer is to first figure out your methods. Let us know more about what you can do, want to do, etc. If you just want to throw a coat of wax on the new camaro, that's pretty easy. The paint is already cured, so no worries about wax hurting the paint. |
