The sound stops towards the end, but ends up always coming back...
I'm glad we now have a Video of the sound,Yea,mine is the same.
You can hear it over the engine noise

I'll be going out later today to report if the "for sure" seal of the Valve to the can makes any difference.

Could be a batch of faulty valves as this just popped up and we have had delays waiting for them (have bought out 2 different suppliers entire stock). All cans are now shipping with the extra fitting free of charge to swap if you have a noisy one. Also, the bradied hose/AN fittings are totally different so nothing to make the noise.

Anyone that wants a replacement valve or the alternate fitting just email me at: RXProducts@aol.com with your address and I'll send both out free with instrutions on how to change them. Out of thousands in use there have only been a couple of bad valves in the past but we have started getting some from a second supplier.

Also I appologize for not being on here all the time but we are finishing the build out of the new shop and have been working all night with the move as well as processing orders, etc.

If you want you can also send the can back (just the can, no hoses/brackets) and we will test it and replace anything faulty ASAP.

Tracy, according to ssmike, the fitting without the check valve didn't make a difference, noise was still there. I guess I need to go put mine back on before my quick disconnects come in, to help with this testing process.

For you guys that are worried, don't, Tracy provides great customer service. And I know he's not about taking your money and leaving you with something you can't use. He continually makes his cans with more improvements and potions for customizing. Hang in there fellas.

Ted from Jannetty has an idea....are the ones making noise have the breather kit installed as well? If so swap the stock cap back on and install the OEM fresh air tube back on and see if it helps. The checkvale in the breather cap may be causing to much vacuum on the crankcase so the checkvalve in the can is confused......just a thought.

Mine does not have the Breather.
I have feeling it the Check Valve.Cant be sure though?

I think it could be the Vacum whistling through the orafices inside the tube kinda like a Musical flute.
Maybe the holes were drilled slightly different. It seems most of us with noise had the purchase shortly after the new year sometime.

Then amplified by the can and then the hoses.
I say this because of the gurgleing nature of the sound.
Just throwing it out there

I don't have the breather cap and I have removed the checkvalve, still have the hissing/vacuum leak sound.

I reinstalled my catch can without the check valve. Now the good and potentially not as good news. With the can installed, I took a before picture, and took a 25 mile trip driving some very hilly crooked road as part of the trip. When I completed the drive I backed into the garage left the engine running, checked for sound issues, checked my inline filter, and snapped an after picture. The good news is the engine sounded normal and there was no weird vibration feel in the hoses or on the surface of the can. The not as good news is there is more oil getting through the can. Pictures show before and after 25 miles, with rpms averaging 2k throughout the trip. Results are propbably expected as Tracy has mentioned in the past that the valve was to slow down flow to allow oil to fall out of suspension.

Dose install config. make any differance? As in, cutting stock hose vs installing full hose replacment. By looking at it, the replacment hose is larger ID than stock and rubber rather than the stock plastic (smooth inside) hose. I would rather not cut my stock hose, like others, in case I want to return to stock configuration but if this causes this problem then it might be worth ordering a full replacment pcv hose for a backup and cutting the stock hose as close to the can as posable to reduce the amount of rubber hose added to the stock hose!

Took a drive after sealing my valve to the can.
Made no difference.
Again as stated if I pinch either hose the noise goes away, that is expected, then returns.

I purchased mine from Ted the 2nd week of Feb.He was out and got a new shipment in a week later.Teds invoice is dated 2-21-11.
Trying to help if manufacturing dates are needed.

So it looks like the valve is funky rite?
I would like to keep it though.
Mine had alot of oil in it when I drained it for the first time, worked great.
Maybe we need a new check valve after all
Funny thing is I don't remember it making noise when it was new.
