Hi neighbors!
We are having the second annual Nebraska Camaro5 Fest on April 16th in Lincoln, Nebraska. You are all invited to come on over. We are giving a free gas card to the car that travels the farthest. It will be held at the SouthPointe Pavilions shopping center at 27th and Pine Lake Road at 10 AM. All are welcome, would love to see some Iowa Camaros!

Nice pictures, I did not know that you were a Firefighter. Do you volunteer in Tiffin? My wife and I made it a habit last year to go to as many pancake breakfasts and firefighter picnics as we could in the Camaro. Let me know when you want to go for a drive. If I tell my wife I want to drive fast she will stay home so I can go fast without her getting mad at me. She doesn’t like to go fast; she tells me she doesn’t want to orphan our kids.
I am in on anything around 380/80 corridor; let me know when and where...

yes i do!! our breakfest is the 10th. mine doesnt like going fast either. i always like driving mine. i have been in the fire service for 13 years as a volunteer.

yeah would love to get together and take some pics with all the colors. i have ibm, and i know guys with black, yellow abm iom all within a few miles, so getting all of us together would be sweet!!

Do you know Steve S. from Fast City Arctic Cat? He put a supercharger on his car but I heard he wasn’t as happy with it as he should be. It lost its street handling ability, now it just goes fast.

yes it is april 10 from 6 to 12 at fire station. yes i know steve. his is the iom i was talking about. i have the same blower on mine as he does, and i drive mine all the time!! his has better exhaust and a cam so it is putting out a little more than mine, but i changed my suspension on mine, dont know if it helped at all or not.

Hello to all 5th gen's in Iowa. I'm a new member this week, living in Urbandale, Iowa. I just purchased my 14th Camaro, a 2010 used with only 9300 miles and fully loaded with the 2LT/RS package. Even though this is my 1st V6, I would rate it in the top 10 Camaro's I've owned. Since I have a C-5 Vette, I didn't need the power of the SS, and wanted to have something I could drive and not worry about mileage.

Are there any events in Central Iowa this Summer ??? I do belong to the Mid-Iowa Camaro Club, but want to see what else is out there.

Hope to hear back from some Iowa folks

yes there was one at karl last year. it was fun, would like to do it again. would love to get one going closer to home, since there are more and more around eastern iowa!!

the bump was just to put towards the top of the threads and for anyone who is subscribed to the thread. just trying to see what people are up. by the clear sheeting, do you mean clear bra?? if so yes i have it on the entire front end of car, backs of mirrors, first foot or so of the hood, rocker panel from behind front wheel back about a foot, behind the rear tire a piece about 12"x12". i am still up for getting together sometime but will have to wait till after c5f2 now as i am leaving monday and have a lot going on this weekend. it can't get here fast enough!!

My wife and I had a great time at a Road Rally Charities event In Des Moines. We drove all over and had a blast. Look them up at http://www.roadrallycharities.com/ , it would be great to get about five of us to show up and dominate this event. Let me know if you are interested. We did the Rally Race in Oct, it was a blast but we could have more fun in a pack.
