I'd be willing to take my money elsewhere if at least some idea of what this might cost isn't given soon by Vararam. I'm growing tired of speculation. And this thread is starting to bore me. Vararam allowed rolnslo to post about the development, which I truly appreciate. But I am unconvinced that there isn't at least an idea of what Vararam wants to charge. We may be getting used in a marketing ploy. Enough already. If the goal wasnt to disclose all info, then why give us any info at all until its ready for market?

I am guessing that a fair value would be around the $350.00. My resoning is that they want $400.00 for the V8 version and from the way it looks compaired to the V6 version it looks like it would require more tooling to make.

second

our model is very simular to the G8 intake but again it looks to be simpler design and they want $369 for that one.

Put me down for somewhere around the $350 mark, and between you and me if this is where they price this. The other CAI makers are going to have a cow. Vararam will quickly dominate the market share for the V6 Camaro modders.

Not for nothing but there are plenty of cai for 350. Plus I think alot of other comp spent alot of time and money on developing there's. One very cool point is if and when they start selling are members will go through there product with a fine tooth comb. Even though there late to the dance they are putting out a nice piece. Can't wait to hear what are members have to say first. 350. Sounds fair but with all the hype I think they may run with this and charge 400.plus and they will get it!!!

They will get 400, but maybe not from me unless everyone who installs it shows these amazing results, and even then I'd have to think about for the simple fact I'd consider it overpriced.

OR

They could sell at 350 which is still equal or higher than their competition and likely run away with the market once word spreads.

I think it will be around $400 and I plan to pay for it...my next door neighbor has a C6 Corvette with it on and trust me he said it was the best money he ever spent on that car...waiting for something good is worth it...

Those other tubes with a filter on it to me is a joke....plus the heated air in the engine compartment is not what makes power...fresh air being forced into the intake such as this...Remember the old days of the Hemi Cuda? Shaker hood was more than looks...it forced air into the engine..and it worked..

350 would be sweet, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

We spend 30K on a car...add another $2000-3000 in extras and $50 is going to keep people from buying one of the best products for our cars...Must be I am older than most...quality and research always cost more...maybe thats why I ride custom harleys and drive a killer Camaro at 56....
