******** harness question...

I have an older amped bazooka tube laying around the garage and was wondering if the ******** harness will plug and play with it. Bazooka has their specific wiring systems and it looks like they want you to plug into the back of the head unit. Is the connector on the ******** splitter the same as what I would find on the back of the headunit?

TIA,
Matt

No it is not the same perse. The harness plugs in between the stock amp and stock wiring harness basically creating a bridge. Out of the bridge you have five (5) connections, I am assuming you are only talking about the X3 connector and not the amp replacement kit.

The five (5) connections you have are:
4x rca outs used to send signal to your after market amplifier in either two or four channel config
1 remote turn on lead that you wire to your after market amplifiers remote signal terminal.

I am not familiar with a bazooka amp but I think you will be fine. If you have any questions email or call Steve directly. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Cheers
K

Are you referring to just the rca jack connections? If so, then yes, our harness has rca jacks, the same that you would find on the back of an aftermarket radio.

I'll snap a pic tomorrow so you can see the input I'm referring to.

Thanks for the help.

Matt

So, here the pics. Can I plug this up using the ******** harness? It's just collecting dust and I'd love to use it.

Harness - you can see the wires were cut when it was removed...

Thanks!

Looks like that connector plugs into the tube right? I see some rca ends at the bottom of pic 2. Those are what would plug into our harness. Then you'll need to find out which wire is the turn on lead and wire the power and ground to the battery.

Yeah, it plugs into the tube and there are RCA's. When you say wire the power and ground, does your harness account for that or is it another wire I would have to run to the battery?

Thanks,
Matt
