I don't think any current intakes pull air from the engine compartment. Even the stock intake is ducted to the grille.

But if want our little V6s to show some performance $400 to me is worth more to me than short tube headers or some of the other crap other sell...Air into the motor is the way...love to see this unit in a wind tunnel at a 70 mph wind and see the difference...some metal tube stuck down in the engine compartment sucking engine heat is not what makes power...no matter what the Dyno says...I know...Raced NHRA Motorcycles...dynos help tune only....tracks show improvement..
Don't get me wrong, like I said, it's not a deal breaker for me (in this case, I believe we've got a quality product here ).
But I can understand where a lot of people are coming from, that's all. And if on top of that, Vararam can make a fair profit while keeping the price at $350, all the better!

Tony...the intakes that pull air from the grille such as the Injen and some others mix some of the air from outside and some from the compartment. The C5CR I had on my car pulled air from the stock location with one big old shit filter on the end...no real air from the front of the car ever made it in there. My 71 GTO had air intakes from the hood scoops that really worked...just like my buddies 71 Hemi Cuda with the shaker hood...fresh and much cooler air..

OK, you can start it and here you go. You're number one and I'm down as number two. Since you'll be the post origin, you can edit it as people chime in so they can be added.
Use below as your template. Maybe if Steve at Vararam see's the numbers that are in for this, he'll just use it for the Group Buy and save us all and him some time and effort.
It could be a thing of him saying I'm using the threads Group Buy list and those who are on it are in, and here is a link to make your purchase and all that is required is your personal info to buy by CC or Paypal, and your site username etc....... There you go Steve, the ground work has be laid out for you and Vararam.
Lets get this party started.
