The main reason I have been waiting on a later model is to see if they would fix the V6 manual transmission from messing up so freaking much. 3 models years and no fix is a slap in the face and pisses me off. Yea, they replace and fix them, but as many know people with less than 30000 miles on them have been replaced 3 times or so and by God I will not pay $25k plus on a brand freaking new car and be in the shop more time than I drive it. Its a damn sports car/muscle car, they need to build the damn thing where it can take a little fast shifting if you choose to....Sorry for the rant, but if it isn't fixed for 2012, I'm buying a new Mustang. Wow..... I never thought I would say those words.

Except the mustang is having the same issues. Good luck with that.

the actual % that have failed vs the total amount sold is very small. obviously GM is fixing the cars with problems but overall it isn't enough of an issue for them to fix it going forward so if thats all that is holding you back well then go get that mustang.....

You guys are rough, haha.

The stripe does look off but I reserve judgement until I see it in person. The anniversary cars are always sought after.

How many are having this problem compared to how many were built? I bet the percentage is very small. Just sayin.

These additions DON'T make this car better than yours. Just different. Enjoy your ride, save yourself the boatload of money you will lose on a trade. Enjoy your cars, don't let a new edition ruin the relationship you have with your current car.
Unless of course your stepping from a v6 to a v8

No way this group fully represents the camaro customer base. They dont represent me.
Not to bash those guys or anything, prob a great group of people, but to say you listen to a small group of people and equate that to listening to your customer base is just wrong to put it lightly.

Gee i wonder how i could get accurate feedback from my real customers?
Its not that hard, but for some reason most companies struggle with this simple task. In this day and age, its easier than ever to reach out to your customer base but yet last i checked no one is really doing that in a meaningful way.

Sure this site is a great resource for chevy, but even this site (as large as it is) is not an accurate representation of the customer base, so how can a small group of "Disciples" be.

If i were GM, i would use Onstar to initiate a direct one to one relationship with my customers. They could have onstar reps ask you if you wanted to take a short survey about your experience with a new car say 6months to a year after you purchase it. And also let it be known that you can call up onstar any time and give your feedback.
Who else in the auto industry could pull this off as easily with existing tech? No one. So why isnt GM doing this already?

If the Deciples wanted those stripes and black on black for the anniversary colors - we need new Deciples.

I do like most of the upgrades and really wanted a 45th, but it won't be black on black. Maybe I'll do the new CRM, and just stick those side badges on. I have a brother with a Carbon Flash Saturn Outlook w/black leather. It's like getting in an oven, and covered in a million swirl marks. Not for me.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........don't think so!

A lot of things are different. The list of unique parts is substantial.

now - had we actually used the Cruze steering wheel and 'tweeked' the suspension and added some stiches - but that would not be appropriate for a 45th anniversary edition........the car is too legendary.

I do recall some saying that the 35th was a waste of money......we agreed to build 3,000 for the U.S. -- and they sold out in less than a month........

I guess it all resides in the eye of the beholder.

Question: What would YOU have done for a 45th?
