You could fly, like we did.

I was originally gonna drive though, but unforeseen expenses came up (wife's car took a shit and it cost $1300 to get it going again). So, rather than miss out altogether, I flew out here. Still gonna be fun. Wish I had my ride, but at least I can be here and experience it.

Wow! That's expensive!! My wife and son didn't fly out. Just me and a friend. That saved me some money.

All I can say is wait till next year. There will be a huge event on the East Coast that will be as big as Camaro Fest. Thats all I can say for now. But just wait and watch. You will see.

Remember....Camaro Fest wasn't Camaro Fest last year until it started getting really big. We could have made our own major event, but I guess because it wasn't called CamaroFest East....no one took it seriously. I do understand that because the event coordinators didn't want to detract from CamaroFestII, there were no stickys added to the home page or main page, but everyone whining about things not going on on the East Coast just haven't been paying attention.

Last yr was in Atlanta...can't please everyone....it's always going to be too far away for some...

Actually, it was Valdosta which is South Georgia just across the GA/FL state line.

Next year needs to be Midwest or Mid-Atlantic. Finding a facility that has everything needed (drag strip, road course, etc.) is the tough part.
