New.....and 16 years old

Hey Guys,

i joined about a month ago but thought i would introduce myself. i am 16 years old and attending high school thought i would share that information.

**i would really appreciate it if nobody treated me differently since i am 16. thanks!!

Unless you are 16 AND paying for your car then Id keep that to yourself.

Welcome and be careful with that thing. Im 21 now and I can admit that had I had an SS at 16 I might not be typing this right now.

i am very well 16 AND paying for everything that I am putting on my car. i work with my dad after school to pay this off. very difficult but i could manage it

I'll start. A 16 yr old typically lacks the judgment, decision making skills, maturity and driving skills necessary to safely operate a 400 hp vehicle. Not just me, just look at accident statistics and insurance rates. Like giving a new pilot a F-18 to learn on when they should be learning in a Cessna 150.
But there are exceptions, hopefully mikester is one of them.
If I was your father, I would immediately enroll you in a high performance driving school. The knowledge will keep you alive.

I cannot imagine being 16 and handed the keys to a 36,000.00 400hp sports car. good luck and stay out of trouble with that one
