I have a tune from Trifecta ....I wonder if this will be a problem since Vararam is doing all of this on a stock tune. I could always put the stock tune back on though...

I would think Vince would just readjust your tune to fit the new intake.

You have nothing to worry about...in fact your at an advantage over those of us who do not have a tune. We just intall and go and hope it performs the best it can. You can install it, then have Vince do any tweaking if he thinks your tune needs it and maybe get a bit more out of it!

Do you have an aftermarket CAI already or are you running the stock air box?

If you are running the stock air box, then in theory you shouldn't need to change your tune... since the Vararam doesn't require a tune...

We've had some really heavy rain here in Georgia and over the weekend we're are forcasted for more. With all the seals around the inside of the hood, rain does not get inside the engine compartment (on top), mist yes, rain no. So as far as rain getting in to the Vararam it would have to come in from the scoop. The reason I know this is while I was getting my engine cover and fuse box hydrocoated, we had a couple of downpours and i was worried that water would get in the fuse box. While needless to say there was no water anywhere, except down low around the crossmembers.

Right, it would have to come up throught the scoop. Unless you were at interstate speeds that wouldn't like be a problem. A little bit of rain in there shouldn't hurt anything.

The same force that pushes water droplets up your windshield...

319!!??...That sounds like a sweet deal! $349 sounds like a fair price for normal retail.

Well now I'm happy with the price...only one more thing to do and that's sit back and watch how these perform on more member's cars. If it sounds as good as it has so far I'll be a customer soon!
