I'm all for a 16 yr old having this sort of car. I don't care who pays for it...if it teaches the kid responsibility an pride in one's ride, then wheel away.

I for one am so extremely disappointed in the way my 2ss runs i'm thinking of trading back for a damn duramax. I don't buy the..."this car is too powerful for someone that age" line. Not for a second...so as long as the youngsters are courteous drivers then i'm happy for the kid.

you cant say its the whole group because im 18 and got mine 3 weeks ago been to 1 meet and you can ask any one who went i was respectful as all hell and did not try to flaunt mine in any way

I guess I'm just old, but there is no way in hell I would ever buy a 16 year old a new car such as a 2SS. I did however help my 16 year old obtain a good and cool USED car. Guess I still believe in the old adage that you have to crawl before you can walk.
