Great day at the SCCA solo event today though there were A LOT of delays. We got 5 solid runs in. These cars are great with the right mods. I can't imagine the improvement with sticky tires...
I'm still a winnnnner! haha... Good running Jason! I'll take a .4 second loss to a more heavily modified camaro, as long as it's not a G8, Firebird, or Stang, and I think all 3 of us took out the G8 by about 4-5 seconds... Drew did great too by the way, I think we were all within 1.5 seconds of eachother which really isn't bad at all...

ibeck, missed out! I'll be there next time, and D10 might too? Give you a chance to practice up to help take out jason when he comes back... maybe we can get a few more of the C5ers to head out?

Great time though all the same. I'm going to go find out what kind of tire options I might have tomorrow. a set of stickies may help me make up that .4...

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

Anyone going to mod day that knows anything about subwoofers/amps/sound systems?

My subs sound terrible, and after tearing the cables loose on the AutoX course today, I fixed them but just reminded myself how much it sounds like crap. I had the same subs and amp in my old car and they sounded great. New box and new setup per the camaro's limitations, but it now sounds like crap. Maybe someone can help me figure out how to tune it/adjust it?

One of my buddies is really good with that stuff, I could ask him if he could help you out sometime, I'm back here next weekend to study some more Mechanical engineering is going to be the death of me... Math 152 is basically the second step in calculus, right now I'm dealing with applications of integration, volumes and cylindrical shapes. I'd rather get run over by my Camaro, but I need someone to drive it and my mom said no. Oh well...

I came suuuuuper close to switching to ME last year. Decided it wasn't worth it.

Just a heads up for any other Ohio State people: I'm currently being trained to drive CABS buses 7:00-10:00 Saturdays, 10:30-13:30 Sundays. I'd suggest not being on the roads at those times.

I loved calculus and differential equations. You really begin to appreciate those subjects when you take some advanced science classes where you can really see how to apply it.

Hey guys... Throw up a problem you're working on and let me see if I can figure it out... I doubt it but I'm curious.
